Farmer’s Septic Service brings decades of experience and state required certifications that support the Fight the Flood Program. Our licensed and insured team installs, inspects, and maintains conventional and alternative onsite sewage systems, including advanced technologies that boost flood resilience and protect groundwater. Founded in 1987 on three generations of septic knowledge, we understand soil conditions, groundwater behavior, and system design skills essential in coastal, flood prone areas. As the industry evolved, we earned specialized training for recirculating sand filters, mound systems, elevated systems, and other designs suited for high water tables and poor drainage. Through local site visits, we evaluate drainage, soil suitability, and flood impacts to ensure systems are built for long term stability. Our certified team provides installation, repairs, inspections, and guidance for homeowners facing flood-related needs.

Our vision is to continue leading our region in high quality wastewater solutions by combining decades of expertise with modern technology, ensuring every homeowner receives safe, efficient, and long lasting septic care. Cascade Engineering’s Flood Barrier division provides rapid-deploy, reusable flood protection systems designed to help municipalities, utilities, and critical infrastructure operators protect assets before flooding occurs. We manufacture and distribute modular flood barriers in North America that serve as a faster, more sustainable alternative to traditional sandbagging. Our mission is to strengthen community and infrastructure resilience by delivering practical, scalable flood mitigation solutions that protect critical assets, reduce disruption, and preserve public resources. We aim to help organizations move from reactive emergency response to proactive flood preparedness through smarter, reusable flood defense systems. Our vision is to become a leading North American provider of portable flood resilience solutions, redefining how communities and infrastructure operators prepare for and respond to flood risk.

The NOAQ Boxwall is a modular flood barrier that is reusable and easy to deploy at scale to protect infrastructure, property, and lives. Each section connects into place without tools and includes a seal on the underside that uses the weight of the water against it to secure the barrier to the ground. As the water rises, the seal tightens. The panels weigh only 33 pounds per piece, which is 1% of the weight of an equivalent sandbag wall. They can also hold back floodwaters that are 40 inches deep. Emergency crews can build hundreds of feet of protection in a matter of hours, compared to the days of round-the-clock work required for a sandbag wall with similar stability.
