   • He leverages both traditional NFIP (National Flood Insurance Program) policies and private flood-insurance options, and he designs mitigation strategies (like wet/dry flood proofing) to help reduce premiums.

3. Flood Mitigation

   • Mike has designed over 1,500 flood-mitigation projects, aligning FEMA code, building code, and insurance requirements to make older structures more flood-resilient.
